Valley Animal Pet Resort is located right next door to Valley Animal Hospital. In fact, it is located in our former clinic.
For those who need a safe haven for their pet while away or for those who are visitors to the Tucson area and would like peace of mind while sightseeing, or would like to have their dog or cat groomed, Valley Animal Pet Resort is here to give compassionate and professional care.
We provide the added comfort of having a veterinarian close at hand to monitorany difficult or chronic situations.

Valley Pet Resort Veterinary Care Warranty Program
This revolutionary program offers you, our valued customer, peace of mind. You can be assured your pet will receive timely, professional veterinary care, should the need arise, at no additional veterinary cost to you, through Valley Animal Hospital. (Some exceptions apply)
Resort Discounts
Pets staying over 30 days receive a 10% discount. We also offer a 10% military discount and 10% off for day boarding. (Unable to combine discounts)
Boarding Requirements
All dogs and cats boarding or getting groomed or ferrets that are boarding must be current on the following vaccinations:
DOGS:
- DHPP (Distemper/Parvo combination) – YEARLY - 3 year with written proof by a veterinarian.
- RABIES– 1 year or 3 year
- BORDETELLA– (kennel cough) – 6 months (for boarding dogs only)
CATS:
- FVRCP (Distemper/Upper respiratory combination)- YEARLY - 3 year with written proof by a veterinarian
- FELV (Feline Leukemia – Required for Indoor/Outdoor cats) YEARLY
- RABIES- 1 year (Indoor/outdoor cats must have all Vaccinations. Indoor only cats must have FVRCP and RABIES)
FERRETS:
- DISTEMPER - YEARLY
- RABIES - YEARLY
Dogs and cats admitted for boarding will have a Pre- E
ntry Exam and will be examined for fleas and ticks. If fleas or ticks are present, we will apply a flea and tick spray at the owner's expense. If no fleas or ticks are present or the pet is not on any flea and tick product, Vectra spot-on will be applied at the owner's expense.
We must make every effort to prevent a flea/tick infestation of our facility.
